WONDERTREE
A brand refresh and UX redesign of an AR learning platform that transforms therapeutic exercises into playful, confidence-building experiences for children with diverse needs.

Context
WonderTree offers gamified AR experiences that adapt therapeutic exercises into playful activities for children with diverse needs. Despite eight years of experience and a strong mission, the digital experience failed to reflect the platform’s credibility or impact. Parents, already cautious due to past disappointments with similar tools, found the website confusing and unpolished. High bounce rates limited growth and sales, while usability issues such as frequent camera connection problems disrupted AR gameplay and created friction across the entire journey. Trust was hard to build, even though the product itself was meaningful and effective.
Solution
I led a brand refresh and experience redesign focused on building clarity, trust, and confidence for parents and educators. The goal was to give WonderTree a stronger, more playful personality that still felt credible and grounded in care. Using user journey mapping, information hierarchy, and usability testing, the platform structure was reworked to support how parents research and make decisions. The user flow was redesigned to surface the right information at the right time, guiding users through the platform before encouraging sign-ups. Visual consistency, illustration systems, and interaction clarity were used to reduce friction and reinforce trust.
WonderTree was redesigned as a structured yet playful platform where trust and usability guide the experience. The refreshed brand and platform balance warmth with clarity, helping parents and teachers understand the value of the tool before committing. By resolving technical friction, simplifying navigation, and creating a cohesive visual language, the experience allows users to focus on what matters most: children with diverse needs learning, growing, and building confidence through play.

Brand Refresh
The brand identity was evolved to feel more confident, playful, and empathetic, better reflecting WonderTree’s impact on differently-abled children. The refreshed tone and visuals communicate care, credibility, and purpose.
Platform Experience
The platform was redesigned to support seamless interaction across AR gameplay and supporting flows. Parents and teachers can now easily navigate skill-specific games and access instant performance reports after play, making progress visible and meaningful.
Usability and Trust
Key technical and usability issues, including camera connection problems, were addressed to reduce frustration during gameplay. Clear structure, improved flows, and consistent visuals help parents feel confident rather than overwhelmed.
Illustration System and Visual Library
A cohesive illustration system and visual library were developed to unify the experience across the platform. These elements support engagement while reinforcing consistency and brand recognition.
Impact
By aligning brand, usability, and platform design, the redesigned experience gave WonderTree the credibility it deserved. Parents and teachers now engage with confidence, technical barriers no longer interrupt play, and children benefit from an experience that turns therapy into joyful progress.
